Terracorsos - About us

The Terracorsos prefix was granted by FCI in 1997. Terracorsos is one of my favourite flowers, Gerbera Terracorsos. Our names are Helena and Mikael Larsson and we live in a town called Luleå in the North of Sweden. We're both active in the Swedish breedclub SWTK Region Nord. Since 2003 Helena is the chairman of the border and Mikael use to supervise courses in coat triming.

We bought our first Irish SoftCoated Wheaten Terrier in 1995 and we have since then been the breed devoted. If you are interested to learn more about the breed, please visit the Breed club in »» Sweden (only in Swedish) »» Great Britain

Today we have three Wheatens and they lives together with us in our house. Our dogs are like our "children" and they are very much part of the family.

We had our first Wheaten litter in March 2001, Terracorsos Gladiator Litter, and it was a wonderful experience. It's amazing to see the puppies grow up. After that we have bred four litters, Terracorsos Hard rock Litter, Terracorsos Idol Litter, Terracorsos Jewel Litter and Terracorsos King -and Queen Litter.

Terracorsos have no plans for puppies in the near future.

We enjoy qualifying our Wheatens so we show a lot in Sweden, Finland and sometimes also in Norway. It's always a pleasure to show nice breed representatives in the show ring. Terracorsos Kennel begins the breeder show carrier in May 2003, Terracorsos Breeder Group has many BEST IN SHOW placements.

At the Swedish Kennel club´s show in Piteå 10.5.2003 Kennel Terracorsos was BIS-5 Breeder under judge Eeva Rautala, Finland.

At the Swedish Kennel club´s show in Vännäs 7.6.2003 Kennel Terracorsos was BIS-3 Breeder under judge Harris Noreen, Australia.

At the Swedish Breed club´s (SWTK Reg. Nord) show in Piteå 6.7.2003 Kennel Terracorsos was BIS Breeder under judge Bengt Nilsson, Sweden.

At the Swedish Terrier club´s show in Piteå 24.8.2003 Kennel Terracorsos was BIS-2 Breeder under judge Peter Machetanz, D.

At the Swedish Terrier club´s show in Skellefteå 25.4.2004 Kennel Terracorsos was BIS-1 Breeder under judge Monique van Brempt, GB.

At the Swedish Breed club´s (SWTK Reg. Nord) show in Vännäs 12.6.2004 Kennel Terracorsos was BIS Breeder under judge Tina Uneholt, Sweden.

At the Swedish Kennel club´s show in Vännäs 13.6.2004 Kennel Terracorsos was BIS-4 Breeder under judge Ann Carlström, Sweden.
